This program will not be upgraded for the moment due to miss requests from the users.

It is ready to work in the 4th of September Contest on PSK31 together with the aboveprograms as completion to PSKGNR.
From version 30.09.99 LogPsk is able to work with IZ8BLY's "HELL" program
(ATTENTION IT COULD BE A PROBLEM WITH F4 FUNCTION OF LogPsk AND VERSION 2.7!!!) in the same mannear as it do with PSKGNR!
The most important feature in this version is the automatically communication with IZ8BLY's "HELL" program!
Also it have a new setup configuration which work better than the previous one.
Now ready for TARA PSK31 Contest and DARC HELL Contest!!! Try it!

To download it follow the instructions:
If you already have VB6 runtime installed on your computer then
you download just the executable file(68Kb).
If else you must download the entire pakage
In any cases I strongly recomand to download first only the
executable file and try to see if it work. In case that doesn't
work then you need to download the entire pakage(1.54Mb...)

Because some people report to me that with version 2.7 doesn't work
the F4 key function from LpgPsk I recommand to use first version 2.6 of IZ8BLY and after that version 2.7.
I try version 2.7 on my computer(and on couple of my friends PC's)and it work very well...
Send me an e-mail if this function works for you(F4) on IZ8BLY version 2.7 or it don't!!!
The most important improvement is the automation made with IZ8BLY's which
be able to send automatically callsign from LogPsk to IZ8BLY by pressing only one key(F4)
in the same maner as it is for PSKGNR.
- "F1" key for saving the current QSO it's changed with "F2" key;
- For program setup was made a new window which able user to setup
it much more flexible;- The settings from setup window is as follow:
-Select Program - enable to work with PSKGNR or with IZ8BLY;
-Log mode - select Contest to work in the contest or QSO to work as usual;
-Check double - select Call to search(by pressing "ENTER")only by callsign
or Call/Band to serach bye Call and Band(it is useful for contest mode!);
-UTC offset - set your UTC offset(for Romania = -3);
-Default Sent report - set the default Sent RS(T); you could add for the
contest mode other characters like Zone but no more than 7 characters
including blanks!;
-Default Rec report - the same as Sent but for received report;
-Real Time - if it's checked that when "Date/Time" textbox get the focus
it'll write automatically Date/Time and Sent RS(T); also when Recv textbox get
the fosus, the received default report will be written on it(this is useful
for Contest!);
Contest - select "Add serial to RS(T) beginning with 001" do what it "says"
- select "Enable Name/QTH fields" to enable on the Contest mode
those textboxes;
Note that these options are active only if Contest button is on!;
All this settings will be stored in a registry location;
Also, the possition of the main windows will be stored in the registry
so from now on you don't need to repositionig it each time you start the program!
On the main window menu on Setup you'll see also the "old" setting
"Clear after saving" which has the same function as it has on the previous ver.
- I add "HELL" to the modes; Also, the mode and band will be stored automatically
to be default when you save QSO and also it will be stored when you close the program!
This eliminate two setings, for default mode and band!
- The database structure was tested extensivley and I remark that for search
on a databse with 10.000 entries it take around 3 sescounds on a P166/64RAM computer...
That why I strongly recomanded to do not use a single log file for more than 20.000 entryes!
Soon it will be availabe ADIF support(maybe for both import/export),
more possibilities into manage convert process for output log on a text file and more!

Version 15.09.99
The most important improvement is the structure of the database
used by the program. From the beginnig I don't think that somebody
could input more than 999 QSO in a single log file. So, in a normal
QSO mode you could step this value very fast and normally you will
want to have all this QSO's on a single log book. That's why now
you could put on a single file more than 9.000.000 QSOs...I think this
is enough for everybody and the database grow with only 4 characters
by new entry.
To upgrade to the new version you should download the new file and
extract from the zip file the "logpsk5.exe" file on the same directory
of the old program.
From now on the old files(made with LogPsk version until 15.09.99)
are not compatible with the new 15.09.99 version database.
Certainly, most of you will wonder what will happen with the old
log that are already made...
Well, is no problem. I made a convertion program specially for that.
On this program you need to set the source file(your previous log file)
and the destination file(the log file that the program will create
with the new database structure). After that press "Convert" button.
That's it.

Version 12.09.99
In the 12.09.99 version you'll find the following improvements:
- Now, when you'll press "F4" from the "Callsign" textbox, the
callsign that you write there it will be automatically send to PSKGNR
directelly to the "his callsign" button and PSKGNR will get the focus.
After this operation you'll be able to run immediately your favorite macro.
I could say that this new feature is the important one on the new version!
- I find during CCCC Contest very difficult to observe where is
focused the cursor. Thats why in the new version, when a textbox
get the focus, the label of that textbox will be coloured in yellow.
- Also, during the contest I find that if I press "F1" to save the
current QSO and I forgot to fill a field, the program let me to save
the QSO which was not so good...Now I fix this "bug".
To upgrade to the new version you
need to download the the "300999.zip" file and unziped it directly to the
folder of the previous LogPsk. This will replace the old "logpsk5.exe"
file with the new one. It is no need to do other setup on the new file
because it knew to get the old one from your files.
