Un-Lucky DayBy Namuu!
The sun rises as another day begins. DING DING, Nanny rides the bike that works the kibble tower. "Ah, breakfast, the most important meal of the day!" says Lucky. "The perfect way to start the day alright." Patch responds. "Well I'm off to meet Cadpig on her morning power walk, care to join me Patch?" Lucky asks. "No thanks," Patch says, "I'll catch up with you later." "Alright be seein' you." Lucky says as he goes to the house. "Hey Lucky!" says Cadpig; "Shall we be off?" "Of course!" Then they left, and they got back around lunch. "Well I'm going to the house for a short nap, I'm dogged out!" said Lucky, exhausted he walked to the house and went through the doggy door. When he entered the living room Roger and Anita were at the front door. "Who's at the door?" Lucky wondered. "Anita, Darling I just came over to let you know I'm going to be leaving today on my vacation!" It was Cruella. "Hi Cruella, if you want to talk come into the kitchen and have a bite to eat." Asked Anita. "I'd love to." "Hmm... I wonder who's bags these are, oh well." Said Lucky as he jumped up on top of on of the bags to have a nap. "Hey you guys, did you see Lucky?" asked Patch. "Oh, sure he went to the house" Spot answered. Patch entered the kitchen Lucky wasn't there, but Cruella was. "Hmmm... where could he be?" Patch wondered. So he went through the kitchen door. "Ah ha. There he is!" Patch exclaimed, "he's taking a nap, which doesn't sound like a bad idea." So he joined lucky but on the other one of the bags. "Well I've got to be off Anita we'll keep in touch, cheerio, cheerio darling," said Cruella, "grab those bags you idiots!" "Yes ma'am!" said Horace and Jasper. Then Cruella was gone. "Phew, a couple of weeks without her around!" exclaimed Roger. Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot were now looking for both Lucky and Patch, but couldn't find them anywhere. "They're GONE!" yelled Spot franticly. "Yawn!" Lucky wakes up not aware of what just happened, "I must've slept a long time because its night already. Waaaiiit a minute, I'm locked in the trunk of a car!" "Huh, why is it so dark already?" asked Patch who is now awake; "WE ARE LOCKED IN THE TRUNK OF A CAR WITH NO WAY OUT that's why." Yelled Lucky who was now obviously panicking. "I think we're moving too." Patch noted. "Where are we going?" wondered Lucky. A couple of hours passed and then the car came to a stop and the driver came out of the car. Then Lucky and Patch could here someone's muffled voice; "Open the trunk and get my bags out you imbeciles!" said the voice. "Sounds like... Cruella!" Lucky said, listening very carefully, "Uh oh, HIDE!" With a click the door swung open to reveal Horace and Jasper, who then grabbed the bags and turned, and luckily forgetting to close the trunk. "NOW!" yelled Lucky and the two of them jumped out of the trunk and hid again. "WE'RE AT SEA ON A SHIP!" they both screamed. Now they were both panicking. "Hey, what do we have here?" said a voice behind them, "two young Dalmatian pups." It was a human with a golden retriever. "What would two puppies be doing alone on a cruise ship?" he said as he picked them up, "Where are your parents huh?" He then took the two with him to his quarters. "Well it looks like our luck has changed." Said Lucky. "Had a bad day?" said the golden retriever, "your lucky we found you before you got into trouble, and by the way, what are your names?" he asked. "Well I'm Lucky, and this is Patch." "Well, that's ironic, being named Lucky and you're having bad luck." Well they started talking and then suddenly the power went out. "What the..." Lucky said, "what happened?" the human said, "maybe we should investigate." They all left the room and when to the main hall where everyone was, but on the way they saw through a window that there was a storm. "That's a bad storm!" he said. When they entered the main hall, everyone was yelling out that they had been robbed. "I don't think the storm caused the power outage!" Lucky said, looking around. Then out of the corner of his eye he saw a door open. "C'mon, there go the thieves, through that door!" Lucky said as he ran after them. Patch started running after him. The two culprits knew they were being followed, one of them broke the glass case that held an axe. He started chopping the wooden planks that were the floor. "They're getting away!" said Lucky, "C'mon faster!" " There's a hurricane or something, the powers out, what else could happen!" said Patch. They then ran over the floor that was chopped with the axe and there was a loud CRACK! "You had to say that didn't you. " said Lucky, who was now very angry. The floor broke away like toothpicks were holding it together. "AAAAAAAHHHHH!!" then two of them yelled as they fell. The human and the golden retriever were following the whole time, and when Lucky and Patch fell through the hole, they quickly came to their aid. "Are you ok?" asked the golden retriever. "I'm fine but I don't know where Patch is..." said Lucky who was then interrupted by a muffled sound of "YOU'RE STANDING ON ME!" Lucky then quickly jumped off of the pile of broken wood, which Patch was buried under. After Patch managed to climb out Lucky discovered that they were locked in the room. In the pile of wood they found a nail, "This will work, a little help Patch." Lucky then stood on Patch's shoulders and he then picked the lock with the nail. "We'll be right up!" said Lucky as they hurried on. Meanwhile the man and his dog went to get help in the main hall. "I need some help in catching the thieves!" He called out. "I can help, I'm a police officer trying to have a vacation." "Oh, good right this way!" He then led him to where they had gone. Lucky and Patch reached the deck and then Patch said, "Hey Lucky, I think the ship is turning around." "What makes you say that?" asked Lucky. "Well you know how the land was behind us, well now its in front of us." "Well I guess my luck hasn't run out!" exclaimed Lucky, "C'mon, lets get those thieves!" Well they hunted them down and the police officer booked them both and the ship landed back at the docks. The man then picked the two up and said, "I found these two puppies all alone and would like some help in finding the owners." "No problem these two heroes are none other that two of the Dearly's 101 Dalmatians!" the officer said. "Hey did you hear that Lucky?" said Patch; "he called us heroes!" The man got the directions from the officer and drove Lucky and Patch home personally. When they got home the man was welcomed and offered a reward of 50 dollars but he was a nice guy and only accepted $20. Lucky and Patch were greeted well too, all the puppies yelled out, "Lucky, Patch!" The two told the others, and Pongo and Perdita all about the adventure, and that they were named heroes and given small medals which they showed off on their collars.
