Software for your translation protection from
being stolen by a fraud client
General conceptions:
All translators know, that 95% of agencies are scam and
the only their goal is to stole your translation, paying you nothing.
All of you familiar with a well known trick when a large text to be
translated is split into small pieces and is being sent to several
translators as a "test translation", then all "test translation" output
are assembled and the entire translated text is sold to the end customer.
Sure, you are informed, that "quality of your test translation doesn't
meet our criteria, sorry..."
ENOUGH SUCH TRICKS!
NO MORE STEELING YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY!
Using my package, your (potential) fraud client will be able to read
the translation you have sent him, but he/she will not be able to copy it
to another file or reprint it from the screen because the entire text
is shown for a restricted time and every page is shown for a restricted
time as well. He/she just has too little time for reprinting the text
directly from the screen. Moreover, possible screen capture software is
blocked during Viewer.exe execution.
Specifications:
1.Small 12kb size viewer.exe runs in MS-DOS only (DOS window, opened
inside Windows is not supported, so, such Windows system functions
as Copy/Paste, Drag-n-Drop, Print Screen, Print to printer, etc.
are switched off).
2.Your text file is strongly encrypted and is being deciphered only in a small
RAM buffer. NO temp files while deciphering, NO deciphered file copy
in your Hard disk. No limitation for source file size.
3.Restricted time of the viewer.exe running ( = 3 min (optional,adjustable))
4.Restricted time of every page viewing ( = 20 sec (adjustable))
5.Restricted amount of the viewer.exe executions ( 10 times = this facility
is available for an extra fee)
6.Viewer.exe is protected from disassembling and debugging.
7.Absolutely all languages are supported, depending only on your autoexec.bat
settings (no dependence of MS-Windows fancy Fonts, etc.)
8.No password required for ciphering/deciphering
How to convert a .txt file into a ciphered file
1.First you have to cipher your original text file using cipher.exe
The key for ciphering is created automatically.
Notes:
- only .txt files are processed;
- input file name MUST not be longer than 8 chars, not counting
.txt extension.
-do not rename output .enc file
2.Then you send to your client:
-ciphered file (file has .enc extension)
-viewer.exe
-your client runs the program from the DOS command line:
> viewer.exe yourfile.enc <ENTER>
Example:
You and your client negotiated, that you are hired for 20 pages translation
without advanced payment. You translate the text, encrypt it using
cipher.exe and send it with viewer.exe to your client in order
he/she to be sure that you actually carried out the translation and view it
without being able to copy.
Your client reads your translation using viewer.exe and gets
familiar that you have actually carried out the translation.
Then client remits you your fees for the translation and you send him deciphered
(original) translated text.
If your client refuses to pay after viewing your translation with
viewer.exe, he/she has only ciphered file, which he/she never will be able to
sell out.
