Discipline an Attorney

Every state has a way of disciplining lawyers who are unprofessional and/or unethical. It all starts with a complaint. In some states the Bar Association handles the complaint, in other states it's handled by the state's Supreme Court. Most states have websites giving complete information about how to file that complaint. Some of the websites have forms you can print out and send in. Other states just have an address you can send a letter to, or request a form. Your complaint may or may not be investigated, but your voice will be heard. Select your state to begin:
