Well we should all give credit to the Rams for playing all sixty minutes and finishing out the game with a much needed W. This game was ugly with a capital U, but a win is a win.

Offensively I’m still concerned that we are not completing plays to our wr’s more. Seemingly every other pass play Bulger is dumping it off to Jackson. Maybe the coverage dictates that, and certainly many times on replay against the 9ers it did. Kudos to a banged up o-line. 3rd string center, rookie at RG, and Stuessie sliding out to tackle again. Pass protection is understandably shaky, but all things considered they did alright.

Defense. Hmm. The scoreboard has been better in recent weeks. The run defense has not. I just don’t see our DL ever penetrate so our LB’s can make plays in the backfield. The secondary played much better this week.

Overall I rate this one a B-.

Also please remember the 9ers are a much better team than last year, so this is not one of the wins against a really poor team. If you don’t believe me ask the Seahags.
