Company scope of works

 M A J Construction Div. actively engaged in the following operations: -

General Construction, Maintenance,Earth Works & Excavations General Earthworks, and infrastructure works.

 1.General Construction.

It includes all kinds of General building construction activities such as paving, pouring of concrete, buildings of Housing, multi-story buildings and other infrastructure works, tiles work, finishing work, structural demolition, and its maintances, etc…

 2. General Earthworks.

All kinds of earthworks (Roads, trenches, remedial works, maintances) it includes site preparation, clearing and grubbing, duct banks, drainage, culvert, ditches, excavations of all kind such as soil, rock, subka, trenches, etc. and the underground utility inspection, Installation of underground utility, Pipes & cable laying, trust boring, de-watering, supply of material, disposal of material, general back-filling, backfill behind retaining wall, grading and compaction works, testing, restoration of site, etc…

3. Road works

Construction activities of Highways, Roads, Access roads, and grading, embankment, sub-base, base-course, Asphalting works and  its maintances.

 4. Bridges work

Construction of bridges for Highways and other roads, Flyover for road crossing, Culvert, Duct bank, etc., and its maintances.

 5. Dams

Special structural construction and maintances of Dams, ponds, pools, dredging, breakwaters, jetties, docks, piers, revetments etc.

To control these activities the company well-equipped and well-experienced qualified professional engineers, skilled labor and have prepared the following documents

1.      General quality policy statement

2.      General quality control Plan

3.      Method statement for each activity

4.      Work procedure for each activity

5.      And the head office shall monitor the execution of all activities for the fulfillment of its quality policy and to prevent any deviation from its respective method statement or work procedure to control the quality plan

Quality Assurance Plan

The quality assurance plan was prepared by this organization to meet the requirements and specification for the projects. For this purpose, good condition equipment’s together with experienced staff were combined with the organization management. The project manager is responsible for running all over the project operation for to monitoring and review the work performance, and he and supporting staff are responsible to cover the following activities.

1.      Planning and control of all construction operations.

2.      All works related to engineering trade.

3.      Material control.(Receipt, storage, issuance)

4.      Inspection, monitoring and supervision.

5.      Review of contract.

6.      Document control including drawings.

7.      Field and Lab testing.

Project Management and Supporting Staff.

1.      Project Manager.

2.      QC / QA Engineer.

3.      Surveyors

4.      Supervisors

5.      Administrative officer.

Our Safety Plan

    The purpose of this standard operating procedure is to provide the policies, procedures, guidelines for planing, organizing, co ordination and controlling for safe performance of the project.

    The objectives is to prevent injuries, loss of life and property damages resulting from accident, such accidents prevention can be achieved by identifying and /or eliminating hazardous material, operation and conditions. This safety programme shall be applied to all employees who are engaged on this project.

     This programme has been prepared on the nature of work of the project. The safety programme and fire prevention programme shall be regarded as composing part of this programme together with the relative provision in general conditions and technical specification of this project and The Satet of Qatar Law regulations.

This procedure defines the responsibility and authority for the implementation of the project safety, as part of the Company  Quality System.

Contract Quality Control

This includes:

    A. Work included: Quality control of products and workmanship Manufacture's instructions, field services, and certificates Mockups.

    B. Maintain quality control over supervision, subcontractors, suppliers, manufactures, products, services, workmanship, and site conditions, to produce Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
