] i remember the start of Raves in LA it was 1991-93 right around there and just awesome free for all parties - most of them where in downtown until they pretty much outlawed them. One i went to was in a abandoned building and in it's basement underground - you had to take a elevator to get down there and they had generators for power and huge speakers thumping that base - i remember thinking what the hell is this? the Flyers you would see on Melrose ave. where so artistic - unbelievable stuff - you would just stare at them and think what the hell is this? [my favorite term at the time] the Flyers you see now are nothing close! i actually saved a bunch of them and i show them to friends when they come over and they are blown away - they always ask - where did you get these? the only place i've seen that comes close is Flyers from England or Ibiza island - they are still pretty wild Ibiza is a island off of Spain - tons of people go every summer and take over the island with some of the biggest DJ's in the world playing at clubs like "space" which is an outdoor rave club on the beach and "gatecrasher" with 10,000 people dancing to Rave - it's like the Las Vegas of Raves - it's all about the music another time one of my friends kept on talking about going to this party in downtown - i wasn't interested in downtown - there isn't any parties down there - what is she thinking? so finally i go with her to this club that goes on every Saturday - this club was 6 or 8 levels/stories up of Rave dancing and 100's of 100's of people [i think it was like 2 or 3,000 every saturday which was unheard of in that day] so me and my friend finally get in and start climbing these stairwells up to each level and we kept on thinking - there is no way that each level has people dancing! - you already know the answer , of course there was! some of the best music just going forever and everyone was on e and no gangs hanging out no fights no nothing just people dancing [it was the start of the Rave scene in LA ] almost all of the time the girls would just take off there tops and be dancing in the crowd - you couldn't see it until you where up very close dancing and then you would be like wow she has no clothes on? what is this place? we started going back every week me and my friend to dance and one time we went up to the "make out chill out room" - on the top level and of course everyone was on top of everyone. and then 2-people come running by us and she and i both we're blown away - they were completely nude a guy and a girl running around the room giggling and laughing! and this place had beautiful people at it. it was like something you would only dream about - the freedom - the awesome music - nobody bothering anyone - everyone just wanting to dance and have a good time - not see in real life at a club of all places? About a year later too many people found out about it and it went down hill- gangs started hanging out and they had to hire tons of security and no nudity on the dance floor. I've been to a few Raves but that first place in downtown LA - that was something - the start - and nobody knew anything - they just wanted to dance and have a good time - it was all New and exciting - miss it -

] Did you hear? Argentina has fallen apart financially - and it's a Free for All !! Everyone is stealing [video - like 2,000 people crowds - watch out!] Argentina is such a beautiful place it's so sad what has happened. If you have ever met a girl from Argentina they are HOT HOT - and they know how to dance very well [i guess the best way to describe them is they kinda look like Jennifer Lopez - yep they got big butts too!]. I met one last summer by chance and we became good friends in fact she wanted to marry me to get her Green Card - well I tell you what, she was Fun to hang out with a great Dancer in the Clubs and that beautiful Tan skin - top it off with a good FUN personality and I ALMOST DID MARRY HER!!! How can you resist !! Oh, I forget to mention the beautiful lips she had - WOW. I think I am going to try to find her phone number ,it's somewhere around here - I have all of these business cards and phone numbers piled into huge boxes. That reminds me of another girl i met 2-months ago from the French Alps. She was also a good dancer- FUN to hang out with and wanted a Green Card. Hey, come to think of it - both girls asked me to marry them and both wanted green cards!! Well I will give you the reason I didn't....I never trust anyone...everybody has there own agenda.

] went to the "Vanilla Sky" movie premiere [monday night - video] they really had tight security - airport scanners, hand scanners, tons of police men, tons of private security and they even shut down most of hollywood blvd with barricades. i'm glad they did it's about time. i will let u know about the film- but there is a lot more too it, so you will have to see it. tom cruise get's his face messed up really badly and he freezes his body so when they wake him up in the future- doctors will be able to fix his face so it will look normal. while he is asleep he dreams of penelope cruz who he briefly met before he got his face messed up. they have this romance but the whole time he is really asleep and doesn't know it [kind of like matrix -with the mind fuck...is he awake or asleep thing ] it's got a happy yet sad ending. Cameron Diaz plays a stalker chick that won't leave him alone. oh yeah, there is this scene when he goes out to a club to go dancing and his face is really mangled! so no one wants to talk to him or dance with him- it was a really hard scene to watch, not even the bar tender would talk to him. one guy shouts at him in the bathroom - "HEY FIX YOUR FACE - DUDE!" - which tom cruise could only laugh from being so unhappy. Tom Cruise was there and Penelope Cruz, Beck -he was cool, Courtney Love- one of the few that actually stopped to sign autographs with the huge crowd, Kevin Smith -director of "Jay and Silent Bob strike back" and "Mall rats" , Christian Slater, Cameron Diaz wearing a cool black hat and of all people David Hasselhoff -baywatch. that was something- how did he get tickets? Jason Lee from "Mall rats" was pretty cool with everyone also. I didn't get to goto the after party- security was even tighter for it. you had to be a star to get in. they didn't care who you where. i saw them turn away producers! and another guy i know from Paramount he is like a VP of one of the divisions and he couldn't even get in! but i am glad they have gotten strict with these movie premieres- especially since the Sept 11th thing. you used to be able to almost walk in. first of all you have to have a ticket to get in but now they check you off a list twice [2-times!] and pat you down, check your pockets and purses and scan you and have u walk thru a airport scanner [no fooling around if u are not supposed to be there -then u are not getting in] anyways that is it- i am exhausted and going to bed...later.

The good thing is I saw a guy dressed as Batman running at full speed up and down Hollywood Blvd- so I guess that mixes it up a bit [what a weirdo] Oh and the big group of Religious people [Hindu? i'm not sure, they had guitars and shaved heads] walking up and down the blvd chanting things about George Harrison [the Beatles] and singing songs. That was interesting.

] [wild story 1991 hollywood] me and my roommate used to skateboard on hollywood blvd. it was fun. anyways one day i almost run right into this tall hot model girl -of course i apologized and we started to talk. so she seemed all cool and we thought well let's have a party back at the pad- call up some friends and get tons of beer. so we did. with about 20-25 people partying at our apartment. so the girl i met starts to kind of hang on me a lot [which was probably cool] i was playing sega -so she just started talking to me. anyways i am completely smashed [so drunk] and this girl tells me that she has 3-personalities, i think- did i hear that right? i am drunk and she is kinda hot- did I? she says there is kim who is aggressive and tina who has a crush on me and kelly who likes my roommate. she asks me what do i think? and i'm like "hey that's cool" [i just try to ignore what i just heard] so she says she is tina right now and likes me a lot -i say "ok then, alright then" [i don't know what to say] so tina starts getting hot and heavy on me, this shit doesn't feel right to me [not anymore] so i go find my roommate who happens to be MORE drunk then i am. I tell him "hey that girl we picked up on hollywood blvd she has 3-personalities!" and he is like "that's great! I like that girl!" [he thinks she is like ...happy...loving....sad....u know she has a lot of personality, but he thinks like a normal person, he doesn't think maybe she is crazy with a multiple personalities disorder] so it's getting late and a lot of our friends have left and it's only me and my roommate and this crazy hot girl. so we tell her that we are going to hit the sack and we can catch up with her tomorrow - she says she doesn't have a car and lives in like San Diego or something [like more then 50 miles away] so my roommate is like "cool stay with us!" and i am like "no no we can't we have stuff to do tomorrow- remember?" so while we are trying to figure this out this girl becomes kim and starts pushing me around. she actually drags me into the bedroom [remember this is a thin model girl- weird huh?] and throws me onto the bed takes her clothes off and says "fuck me" [any normal person would say yes, but i'm actually disturbed by all of this] I say well, i just met you maybe another time when we hang out. she is like No- NOW! [i must admit she had a awesome body, but she has 3-personalities and it just freaks me out!] i finally tell her that i am too drunk and i can't so i gave her a kiss on the cheek and before she could do anything i went to the kitchen and got some water and tried to find my roommate to help me get rid of this crazy chick. she walks into the room right when me and my roommate are talking and she starts making out with my roommate! my roommate is like "cool a hot chick wants to make out, i'm there!" [he still has not figured out that she has 3-personalities] so i try to talk him out of it and push her away. finally i get them separated and i pull him into the bathroom. i tell him "Look the chick is hot yes, but she is CRAZY! she has 3-people in her, multiple personalities!! we got to get her out of here!!" we come back out of the bathroom and she has already fallen asleep on the couch- so my roommate is like , don't worry about it we will tell her to leave tomorrow. i give up and go to my room [i also barricade my door with chairs and a dresser] the next morning i wake up with a hangover and i start to listen to my stereo and then i think "wait a minute, there's a crazy girl in the house! yikes!" so i run into the living room and she is just laying there on the sofa. i find my roommate and i tell him we have to wake her up- it's like 11:30am and she hasen't moved or woken up at all, maybe she killed herself [we look at each other and think -oh shit! what do we do with the body! ] so we start jumping on the couch next to her trying to wake her up -turning up the stereo loud and flipping channels on the TV. finally FINALLY! she wakes up and we talk to her. she tells us- sorry i didn't mean to scare you guys last night i just ran out of my medicine for my personality disorder. we asked her how she got to hollywood and she says by bus. so we are like well we'll give you $25 to take the bus back home -cause your so cool and all [we want to get rid of her get her out of the apartment] so she takes the money and we drive her to the bus stop. she gets on and is like "thanks so much i love both of you! your so nice", so we smile to her and wave and we jump in our VW Jetta and take off, the whole time screaming in the car "OH MY GOD, THAT WAS THE CRAZIEST PSYCHO CHICK !!" "AAAAAHHHHHHH!! I'm NEVER GOING TO PICK UP SOME RANDOM CHICK IN HOLLYWOOD EVER!!!" . the end. [there was more drama then this /parts of this was edited because of scariness and freakyness and i just didn't want to go into detail and write 2-pages]

] So yes I live in Hollywood [actually crescent heights and Sunset strip area] I do plenty of things to keep busy and one of them right now is this certain Movie Project. It's kind of a LOVE/HATE relationship. I mean I have been working on this Project since 1998. Movies take a long time to make. This one is cool, I really like it and it's got a good story and director. We had a lot of meetings lately about it and it seems to be moving forward. The story is about a Blind man -not your average blind guy. This guy is cool [think what "Men In Black" did for undercover agents with the cool shades and all]. This Blind Guy likes to take chances with life - like jumping off a bridge with a bungee cord or ice-skating or just going down to the local bar with his Pose' of Cool Blind guys [trendy black leather jackets and the black shades] all of this without a cane and without being able to actually See anything [they are so cool about it that nobody notices/they have to memorize where they are walking and where to sit at the Bar/all of this to be treated normally ] he even gets a job and has to collect money for the register and he can't tell if it's a $20 or a $1 - and yes this is a comedy actually a Romantic/Comedy. Yes in this world where people are afraid to Fly in Planes and Live in tall Buildings...a Blind guy takes more chances to live a MORE normal life and isn't afraid. So this Cool Blind Guy meets a Hot chick! A really Sexy girl...guys are always after her and she hates it. He meets her by chance and yes he can't See her so he can't tell if she really is good looking or not. She is kinda interested because he likes her for "her" not her good looks. Well anyways I wanted Bill Paxton [aliens 2, titanic and that tornado movie] I met him at James Cameron's house [yes the director] who has a New Years party every Year at his house in Malibu. I just lucked out [I'm always that way]. So, I want Bill Paxton and I talk to him about it and he is kinda into it and all. Then I bump into a old Actor friend [let's just say he's huge now] and I talk to him about the film. He get's it in like 5 minutes of me pitching it to him. I am like wow- he actually likes it? So, the next thing is to talk to the Producers and the Director and let them know. They listen and are interested, but for some reason they keep on thinking of using other actors. Who can understand Hollywood? So then I have things happen to me like every time I want to say "Fuck You Guys and Fuck This Project" I run into a blind guy on a sidewalk or something [I live in a big city and I never see any blind people believe me] like last Friday I have to go pay for my Phone Bill and I am standing in line. This one guy in front of me seems like he doesn't have a clue to what he is doing. Of course I am getting irritated and impatient. Then the lady at the window tells me to go ahead while this guy gets his bearings straight. So I give them my money and then they suddenly change back to taking care of this other guy...whatever I hate lines. Then finally the guy leaves and the lady at the window tells me that the guy was Blind and couldn't fill out the forms! Aaaaaaahhhhh! Another Blind guy!! what the FUCK! is going on? So that is what happens...everytime I give up I run into a Blind Guy.

] Kept myself busy this weekend... I went to the Opening [one two] of the HOLLYWOOD PROJECT on Hollywood Blvd. It was one of the best Parties I have been to [especially since Sept.11th] Everybody was in a good mood and there was a lot of American Pride as well as Hollywood pride. This New Complex is Awesome! I am glad they did it...Hollywood definitely needed it. It really boosted my spirits to see such a event...Go Hollywood!!!

] I work for this Producer sometimes. I deliver stuff for him and pick up the mail run errands. He seems like a pretty cool guy- a little eccentric but hey aren't we all? So when I started working for him I was all impressed because he had won 2-Emmys for TV. Every time I would go to his house he would have really neat stuff- Props from Movies,etc. So one time I go over there and he has this huge SWORD - he tells me it was one of the ones used as a Prop in "Conan The Barbarian". The Sword had a lot of detail to it [it was pretty heavy too] Anyways, he notices that I dig the Sword and says "hey Chase...Do you want to sword fight?" and of course I say YYEEEEEEEESSS!! [I was taking a Shakespeare Theater Class at the Time] So he runs into the other room and grabs another Sword [a really Dangerous looking one...] He picks up a piece of paper and says "watch this" and slices right thru it!! ooopppss! Ok So he shows me some moves in Sword fighting and we begin to Sword fight. I take it pretty easy [he's the Producer -the one that pays me] He...He get's into it and is slicing the Sword all thru the Air [yikes!] So he goes "Ka-Kling!" and pulls my sword right out of my hands [just like that] So, I'm standing there with no sword and he goes- "Now you go in for the Kill" [....what?] and he is inches away from my chest with the TIP of the SWORD!! Of course I just stand there...I mean what are you gonna do, anyways? SO then he goes...."Another Round CHASE!!!" Ok so I pick up the sword and this time I am going to hold onto it really tight!! I'm not going to loose it this time!! ...So we start Sword Fighting again and "SWWIIILINNGG!" there goes my SWORD again! ....standing there defenseless again.... THEN HE MOVES IN FOR THE KILL....he pulls back...with the Sword pointing towards me and starts to go forward with it....[I'm thinking ---well I'm probably going to die here] and he pulls back and goes SWOOSHHH! The SWORD [somehow] goes right into his Pant leg [when he was pulling his arm back ] IT WENT RIGHT THRU HIS LEG!! STICKING RIGHT THRU TO THE FRONT OF HIS LEG!!! I can even see Blood!....We are both standing there looking at his leg WITH A SWORD STICKING OUT OF THE FRONT OF IT for like a minute...[I'm thinking GREAT I just lost my New Job...EGO'S are so huge in this town that he will definitely blame it on me...he will say that I did it..so he doesn't look STUPID] HE then Pulls the Sword out and checks his leg and he is ACTUALLY OK?? How can that be??...It turns out it went right thru his Pant leg of his Khakis and just 'missed' his leg [actually scratched the surface] ....Good thing I stayed calm about it...So everyone calms down and we talk for a while and he sends me on his errands for the Day.

] Happy Halloween! So my buddies are coming over and we are all going to go out [don't want ask were] I'm going to go as a "Cable Guy" -with the whole name tag and all. I went awhile back to this Awesome party at "SkyBar" on Sunset- it was put together by the same people who did the parties for Studio 54. It was a Blast! Well tonight I think we are going to some friends houses and then maybe try to hit the good parties. There is also really good crazy stuff on Santa Monica Blvd- People dress up in Drag and all.
