Released by Reprise Records. Produced by Rob Cavallo and Green Day. All lyrics by Billie Joe, except Emenius Sleepus, which was written by Mike. This was Green Day's first major label release. An interesting fact about Dookie is that on the back of the original copies, it showed a crowd holding up a stuffed Ernie doll from Sesame Street. The band had to later reprint Dookie's back minus Ernie because they were threatened with lawsuits. Also some copies of Dookie come with a brown tray for the CD.
* Hidden track at the end of Dookie. To this day, this is the only Green Day album to have a hidden track.
